A New Public Green Space

A new public green space is proposed adjacent to the east edge of the Industrial Heritage Precinct where visitors will be able to take advantage of new high quality public spaces. The multi-use pathway system from Rail Trail Park will link users across the park to 15 Street SE and beyond Brewery-Rail Lands to 9 Avenue SE. Naturalized elements are proposed within the park’s landscape to add to the user experience, along with the integration of historical remnants and ruins that will create a new public gathering experience tied to the local area’s historic built fabric.
